Cooking & Preparation Instructions

For the best results, cook directly from frozen. Do not thaw, or the thin egg wrapper will become sticky and tear.

1.1. The Classic Soup Method:Boil for 6-7 mins (Highly Recommended).

Bring a pot of chicken, pork, or dashi stock to a vigorous, rolling boil. Drop the frozen dumplings directly into the boiling liquid. Stir gently with the back of a ladle to prevent sticking. Cook over medium-high heat for 6 to 7 minutes (they will float to the top when nearly finished). Garnish with fresh chives and sesame oil before serving.

2.2. The Dim Sum Steam Method:Steam for 8-10 mins.

Bring water to a boil in your steamer. Arrange the frozen dumplings on a lined steamer tier (bamboo or metal), leaving a small gap between each piece. Cover tightly and steam over high heat for 8 to 10 minutes until the wrappers turn translucent and glossy.

3.3. The Potsticker Alternative:Pan-fry for 6-8 mins.

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Place the frozen dumplings flat-side down and fry for 2 minutes until light brown. Pour in 60ml of water, cover immediately with a lid, and steam-fry for 5 minutes. Remove the lid and cook for another 1 minute until the water evaporates and the bottoms crackle.
